Following four consecutive summers of collaboration in Montreal, Argentinian singer María Luz Seferiades and Egyptian-Canadian guitarist and oud player Ali Omar El-Farouk present Entre Dos Almas, their newly named voice-and-guitar project. Blending the intimacy of the duo format with a repertoire that spans Bolero, Tango, Samba, Bossa Nova, and contemporary Spanish song, Entre Dos Almas offers heartfelt reinterpretations of music by artists such as Niña Pastori, Buika, Alejandro Sanz, and many others.
Rooted in the meeting of two musical worlds, the concert celebrates the rich traditions of Latin America and Spain through expressive arrangements, lyrical improvisation, and a genuine musical dialogue between voice and guitar.
