After three summers of performing together in Montréal, Camino Trio continues its fourth year with its distinctive blend of contemporary flamenco and jazz. Led by guitarist Ali Omar El-Farouk, alongside two of his favorite musicians and longtime collaborators, Shaun Ryan and Hanser Santos Gómez, the trio draws inspiration from the rich tradition of modern flamenco while embracing the spontaneity, freedom, and improvisational spirit of jazz.
For this special August concert, we will explore a mostly new repertoire, taking the trio in fresh musical directions and offering a different selection of music from our July performance. The program will feature works by renowned flamenco composers, original compositions, and fresh instrumental interpretations of jazz classics, all brought together through Camino Trio’s own distinctive musical voice.
An intimate, energetic, and deeply expressive evening of music, filled with new horizons and unexpected musical journeys. We hope you’ll join us!
